Guyanese all-rounder Quentin Sampson has been retained as the Breakout Player by the Guyana Amazon Warriors for the Caribbean Premier League 2026.
Sampson was the Breakout Player of CPL 2025, displaying consistency and match-winning impact in his debut season. In eight matches, he scored 241 runs at an average of 40.16 and a strike rate of 153, including a career-best 76.
His retention by the Warriors came as no surprise, given his tremendous performances, which later secured him a spot on the West Indies T20 team earlier this year.
