Indiana has added to its frontline with German 7-foot center Clemens Sokolov.
The 18-year-old Sokolov averaged 6.4 points and 5.0 rebounds in 23 minutes per game in Pro B Germany, per Jonathan Givony of Draft Express.
He'll be a backup big at IU this coming season. He's fairly strong and should be able to get minutes, is the word.
Sokolov is the 11th scholarship player for the Hoosiers, who are entering their second year under coach Darian DeVries.
Sokolov is expected to backup 7-foot-2 Samet Yigitoglu and 6-foot-11 Aiden Sherrell in the post.
Sokolov will be a freshman. That puts him in IU's 2026 recruiting class along with four-star 6-foot-6 wing Vaughn Karvala, 6-foot-4 four-star guard Prince-Alexander Moody, and 6-foot-8 four-star wing Trevor Manhertz.
